FN Five-seveN Mk II vs. Five-seveN USG - Enjoyed your videos.  I'm not sure your measurements on the handle and the trigger pull are correct.  The reason I say this is because the numbers were still changing as you removed it.  At least that's the way it looked to me.  Still I'm very happy you went over the changes.  Thanks.

- By a pure cosmetic standpoint I prefer the older USG...Having never shot the MK 2 its hard to imagine a smoother shooting firearm than its older brother. I don't understand why people that own a older USG (me being one) want the MK2. Don't get me wrong I'm happy to see FN selling their firearms and producing model updates but i dont see a real reason here.I'm also baffled by people that buy every generation of glocks so w/e
- Great Video! Jay from Elite Ammo is a good person to deal with and very knowledgeable on the five seven pistols. The newer FN  MKII  one piece upper slide assemblies were changed to work on the older USG MKI. It makes sense when you think of  all the older USG MKI's used by the military and other agencies They don't make the older USG MKI  rwo piece welded slides anymore. Bad not to have replacement parts if you needed a new slide for your USG. Jay will test the newer slide MKII on your MKI to see if they are the newer compatible slide. 
- From Josn FN parts manager to Gerhardt Defense Armament. About getting a complete mkll adj upper slide assembly for my USG. He says he uses the mkll upper assembly on his USG and it works fine.

2/ BARREL IS  NOTCHED FOR  FEEDING IN THE ONE PIECE SLIDE.
3/ SERRATIONS ON THE FRONT PART OF THE SLIDE COVER WHICH IS WIDER BUT NOT THE SLIDE HOUSING UNDERNEATH. SIGHTS ADJ. ARE LOWER PROFILE.
4/ THEY ADDED A NOTCH TO THE NEW MAGS TO FEED AFTERMARKET AMMUNITION.
5/ OLD MAGS WILL WORK IN THE MK11 FROM THE USG MKI
6/  THE NEWER SLIDE WILL FEED UNDERPOWERED AMMO USING THE MKII SLIDE
7/ THE NEWER MKII ADJ SIGHT COMPLETE SLIDE ASSEMBLY WILL WORK ON THE OLDER USG MKI
8/ THE DIFFERENCE IN THE PISTOLS PARTS IS ABOUT 5 COMPARED TO THE USG MKI AND ALL OTHER PARTS ARE INTERCHANGEABLE, BETWEEN THE TWO. MOST DIFFERENT  PARTS ARE IN THE NEWER MKII UPPER SLIDE ASSEMB;Y ;LIKE THE SLIDE COVER SIGHTS, BARREL, SLIDE, SPRINGS, ETC.
9/ THE BURRIS FAST FIRE USG MKI USG MOUNT WILL NOT WORK ON THE MKII SLIDE BECAUSE OF THE COVER SLIDE HOLE AND SIGHTS.

- It was a cheap shit holster that holds a mark 1 but black hawk said that there will not be a mark 2 surpa this calendar year. But probably in 2015. LAME.....
- Friend of mine bought the mk2 and it didn't even fit the holster it shipped with or the serpa lvl2 lol 
- The magazines aren't interchangeable between the two are they?
- Great video.  I love the PS90 and MK II.  XD  5.7x28mm is amazing just expensive and rare on the defense round.

- does it/will it come in fixed sights model? or is FNH now going all the way through with adjustable sights?
- How can a person identify the USG model from the MKII model, besides looking at the color difference of safety lever, short of using a thickness gauge to measure the width or actually breaking it down to see if there is a one piece upper receiver?  Is the pistol marked with MKII?  Does the sticker on the packaging, carry/storage case read, "FN Five Seven MKII"?  Is there a stamp on the pistol receiver that states it is a MKII?

- One more thing... There are no torture test videos of the fn 5.7 probably because of the price of the weapon. if you are interested torture test should consist of shots fired after being submerged in dirt, water, and shots fired underwater.
